Morning

I love morning...not the getting up and going to work part, but the quiet and the stillness. I enjoy my cup of coffee, read God's Word and bask in the stillness before my day begins. It feels like a clean slate before me. I can more easily hear God's voice because my mind is less cluttered.

I love food, but sometimes I'm in a hurry, especially on my 30-minute lunch break. I'm not sure I always truly taste my food and experience it. Jesus invites us to taste and see. What is it about taste that opens our eyes? The more senses that are involved may be part of it.
