Happy New Year! It's time to turn the page of the calendar and welcome the year before us.
As I think ahead, it also makes me look behind. Where has the time gone? What have I accomplished? Did I miss God in the midst of the craziness of 2020?
My word for 2020 was "strong". Wow...who would have known I needed that word when I . . .
Five Minute Friday Challenge
I don't know about you, but I am ready to conclude 2020. I am looking forward to seeing it end. There has been so much loss, uncertainty, and upheaval in our daily lives.
However, I am thankful for the slower pace, a new position at work, and God's faithfulness through it all! I love the promise that "Jesus, the . . .
A Five Minute Friday Challenge
Recently at work, I received the notice to change my password. It is sent ahead of time, so that I will not be locked out of my email and everything else at work. Each year my password is some form of "my one word" for the year. So, this little reminder had me thinking ahead to what 2021 may bring.

My "One Word" for 2019
A New Year brings freshness and expectancy. As a "planner", I want to know what is going to happen next. However, I'm thankful that God, in His infinite wisdom and mercy, allows things to unfold. He prepares me and will sustain me through the ups and downs of life if I will let Him.
I’m not a person who makes a list . . .
