And then there were ten. Ten months completed. Well, almost, there are a few days left after I post this. Hope you enjoy my Share Four Somethings this month and you can check out the other writers here!
Something Loved: My husband and I recently made a fun new purchase to help with the upcoming holiday baking! It works like a dream and is so fun and easy. I also tried a yummy new recipe, Salted Bourbon Apple Crumble Coffee Cake, delicious!
Another thing I loved this month was writing daily for 5 minutes and participating in the 31 Day Writing Challenge 2021. I haven't joined the last few years due to working full time. This year, we were encouraged to just write, even if it was only in a private journal! So, I joined and I've been able to write each day. It's been a beautiful start to my morning! I've even posted some of them.
Something Read: Part of the commitment to the 31 Day Writing Challenge 2021 is reading the posts of others. Some are writing and posting on their blog or social media every day. I feel like I have a few new friends because you get to know people through their musings and sharing what God is showing them in His Word. If you'd like to check out the other writers, click here. (Links to each on blog are near the bottom of page.)
Here are 2 direct links that you can read the posts from 2 of my friends:
Something Treasured: My youngest daughter turned 26 and we had a wonderful week with her home! The 4 of us had a lovely walk in the park after her birthday dinner.
I'm also treasuring life and God's protection after my tire met a large piece of wood on the interstate. Thankfully, my daughter was with me and kept me calm. The Lord parted the sea of traffic for us to get over to the side and the nice emergency TDOT worker put our spare tire on. Our fun itinerary changed a bit that day, but we were safe, the tire got fixed and we still had a nice day together. So very thankful for our guardian angels! Life is precious and could change at any minute.
Something Ahead: Thanksgiving and a few extra days off!
