Well, here we are once again at the end of another month. Days and weeks keep ticking by and we have come to the end of another month. It's time for my version of "Share Four Somethings" for September. This link-up is hosted by Heather Gerwing. Don't forget to hop over to her website to read the other blogs.
Something Loved: It was a lovely fall-feeling Monday and I had the day off. Now the whole day was not blissful since I had 2 yearly doctors' appointments, but they went well! I did take some time for myself and went to a new-to-me coffee shop and got an oatmeal cookie latte and a cinnamon crunch muffin. So yummy. It was good to relax and read for a while in new surroundings. The best part? I was able to be outside too! Later that morning, I had a pleasant walk along the greenway near our local library.
Something Gleaned: September 22 was my 6th blog-aversary! I can truly say I have gleaned much about writing, hosting a blog, connecting to link-ups, and even participating in a Twitter party. (Here's a shout-out to my Thursday night, Five Minute Friday friends, from a few years ago.) I may not have a huge following, but writing is a creative outlet for me. I write for Jesus, my audience of One. I'm thankful for every reader and commenter who takes the time to connect. I trust that along the way you have heard a whisper from the Lord. Here is the link to my very first post.
Something Braved or Saved: My husband asked me the other day if I could make his mother's peanut butter bars. I hadn't made them in a very long time. I looked in my online recipe notebook and I couldn't find it. So, I began looking through my recipe file box and folders. Behold, there it was! The best thing is, it's in her handwriting. A treasured keepsake for sure!
Something Achieved: This is a continuation from last month. I finally tried Stitch Fix and I liked all 5 pieces they sent me! I bought longer-length denim shorts, 3 blouses and 1 sweater.
What did you love, glean, brave (saved), or achieve this month? Enjoy your October!
