Chapter 10 in "Uninvited" (by Lysa TerKeurst) talks about how we are to maximize God, which keeps our weaknesses in perspective. I love the quote in the picture, "There is an abundant need in this world for your exact brand of beautiful."

Let that sink in deep...no one else can bring to this world, what you can. God created you for a specific purpose...to reach people and to change atmospheres, that others can't.

I have a friend who a few years ago told me " you are more than you know". I didn't really believe her at first, but every time she would see me, she would pray those words over me again and again. You know what? I finally started believing them. I am more than I realize because God made me!

Just because someone else is enjoying success in one area, doesn't mean that I cannot enjoy success as well. There is more than enough to go around. God is the creator of the universe...in Him, there is no scarcity, but true abundance!

Psalm 104:23-28 "...You give them all food in due season you feed everybody..."

"The Psalm makes clear that we don't need to worry. God is utterly, utterly reliable. The fruitfulness of the world is guaranteed."

When we worry that there is not enough, our thinking begins to stink and when our thinking stinks...our words, attitudes, and our behavior begins to stink. However, Jesus wants II Corinthians 2:14 (The MSG) to be true of us....

"But thank God! He has made us His captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession. Now He uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume."

When we carry God's fragrance...He can change the atmosphere around us. I don't know about you, but I want to be an atmosphere changer. When a fragrance is sprayed, it cannot be contained...it spills out and changes everything around it.

So, what do you need to do today to carry God's fragrance? Sing because He created your voice? Share your testimony because He walked you through it? Write the poem He has laid on your heart because He gave you those words to share with the world?

Your friends, co-workers, and family need you, the world needs "your exact brand of beautiful" and "you are MORE than you know." Step out with Jesus today and see what He will do through you!!
