Recently as I was driving to work, I saw an empty lot. It looked like a building had been torn down. I go down that same road fairly regularly and as I sat and thought about that spot, I could not remember what building had been there. Had it been a restaurant? Had it been a motel? I went by the same empty lot about 1 week later, and now there is a new building going up in it's place.

I sensed that the Lord wanted to teach me something as I was now aware of what I normally take for granted. As I prayed, He revealed to me that is how my life is. He is taking away the old and is replacing it with the new. I find myself worrying less and trusting Him more. He is replacing my timidity with a renewed boldness. I am no longer the same person before I was walking with Jesus, I am a new creation in Christ!

II Corinthians 5:17, "This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!" (NLT)

Just as I am interested in what the new building will be, I'm looking forward to how my life is being transformed as I walk with Jesus.
