I was reading through my journal today and came across some sermon notes. This is a quote from my Pastor, "Even in the midst of a chaotic, violent world, Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. He truly is the Cornerstone."  The word "cornerstone" means the chief foundation on which something is constructed or developed. 

That's what I want for my life. One that is built on something sure and solid. Matthew 7:24 (NLT) 

"Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock."
