I feel like a broken record, another month has zipped by! It's time for another look back at my month. Join me, Jennifer, and the other bloggers as we share May's Share Four Somethings.
Something Loved: Time away with my husband as we celebrated 35 years of marriage on May 20th! We spent a few days in Gatlinburg walking and driving through the Smoky Mountains and relaxing. We even saw a bear near our hotel parking lot. Oh my!
Something Accomplished: I tried a new cookie recipe this month. They quite tasty! White Chocolate Raspberry Swirled Pistachio Cookies from Half Baked Harvest.
Something Improved: Our front porch got a bit of a facelift with new flowers in our railing boxes.
Something Noticed: Cicadas seem to be EVERYWHERE in middle TN this year. Somedays are louder than others. It's particularly distracting on the highway, coming home from work when they splat on my windshield. Two broods emerged at the same time this year, so it's been more of a problem than normal. Below is a picture of the first one I saw on our house and you can check out the Tennessean newspaper article if you'd like to read more.
