July - Share Four Somethings
I say this in my head every month, "Is it really time for Share Four Somethings, already?" Yes, folks it really is!! In TN our summer is coming quickly to an end with teachers and students back in school over the next 2 weeks. I pray you are blessed by my stroll through this month of memories. Please share in the comments below Something that you Loved, Read, Treasured, or are Looking forward (ahead) to in the near future.
Something Loved: I forgot how fun and re-charging being creative can be. I have loved working on this blanket the last few months and I'm actually caught up! It clears my mind and gets me off of my phone and social media for a while!
Something Read: American Anthem by BJ Hoff was given to me by a good friend. We like to share books and usually, I enjoy her recommendations. It took me a while to get into the first book of this trilogy, but I kept at it, and then I was hooked. There are many characters to get to know, but they are all important to the entire story! It follows a composer through many ups and downs and how these characters all relate to each other.
Something Treasured: I asked my husband what he wanted me to make for dinners this week and he requested my mother's homemade sweet and sour chicken. I wasn't sure where the recipe was and I looked for it in several areas of my cabinet and finally located it. Even though it's in an online notebook, I treasure the recipes I have collected over the years, especially when they are handwritten!
Something Ahead: August. Looking forward to starting a new Bible study and I'm going to help lead!
