Time keeps marching on, doesn't it? A co-worker was reminding me that we are MORE than halfway through the year and then I had the thought that it's less than 5 months until Christmas...and cold and maybe snow. Of course, with our 105 heat index temperatures this past week, that doesn't sound too bad. Ha ha. Here we are at the end of the month again and I'm joining Jennifer and the others for our retrospective on July.
Something Loved: It was so much fun and a needed day away with Jesus for Karav (formerly known as the Aldersgate Conference). This year it was in the neighboring city of Gallatin at a church. It was not as big as in the past, attendance-wise, but God was just as present as always. It was a beautiful day of worship, seeing friends, and listening to wonderful teaching. Just what I needed - time away to draw near to God and recharge. This was the only picture I took as I was "in the moment". It's a picture of 2 banners used in worship.
Something Read: Thought this was cute and borrowed from Jennifer's blog. It's a good reminder for me to walk confidently in what God has called me to do.
Something Learned: I'm still working on my cardigan. I shared some early pictures in May and below is how it looks today. I still need to add a few rows to the bottom and where it meets in the middle. Then it's on to the sleeves, or maybe vice versa. I need to re-read the directions and get back to it!
Something Eaten: Again, no pictures of our food, but we had a wonderful dinner at a new restaurant in our town, Trattoria, La Caverna! The service was great, the food was excellent and we will definitely be back. We love Italian and they have very good tiramisu!
