Read: Proverbs 22

Verses: 24-25 

"Do not make friends with a hot-tempered person, do not associate with one easily angered,  or you may learn their ways and get yourself ensnared." (NIV)

I couldn't decide which version I liked best, so I gave you 3 for these verses today.

We all encounter many different kinds of people during our days and weeks. I believe these verses talk about those friends we choose to be around!  Find 1 or 2 people with whom you can confide, pray and keep close to your heart and allow them to do the same for you. It is good to be uplifted by others. 

Some folks are life-giving and some seem to be life-draining. We are to be gracious to all people and seek to minister to others. Don't hang out with those who are constantly pulling you down, or you may be infected or trapped by them. Instead may II Corinthians 2:14 be true of us "But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us spreads and makes evident everywhere the sweet fragrance of the knowledge of Him." (AMP) I pray that I can be a Jesus-influencer to others. 

Choose your friends wisely and seek to change the atmosphere around you, as you carry God's presence.
