Read: Proverbs 13

Verse: 12 

"Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life." (NLT)

"Unrelenting disappointment leaves you heartsick, but a sudden good break can turn life around." (The Message)

I have often heard this verse quoted. Looking back over my life, I have had many hopes and dreams deferred. Circumstances didn't turn out like I thought they should. It wasn't in my timing. It wasn't the way I wanted it to turn out! Do you see a theme here? It was I, my and I! 

I've always known this, but as I get older, I see it even more! God is in control and everything will be in His timing and in His way. I also have always known, but believe it more than ever, that even if my hope is deferred, it is making way for something beautiful, perhaps even more so, because I have waited. Of course, we all are waiting for our Heavenly eternal home with Jesus! 

Are you waiting for something today? May you continue to trust in Him! He is faithful and He will do it!
