Jesus longs to make us, make me whole. He wants to heal us, just like the blind man who received sight. Jesus wants me to see and perceive things with His heavenly eyes and gain His perspective. Just as He healed the lame man, Jesus wants me to walk. Walk, not just in a daze going through the motions, but in a close relationship with Him on this exciting journey.
He wants to use me, use us to lead others to wholeness, oneness with Him. To be whole is to be alive, close to Jesus. For now, on earth, I will be content with "whole enough." Oh, how glorious that day will be when I meet Him face to face. Whole, healed, and praising Him; wholly and completely with the angels and loved ones gathered around His throne!
"But it was because of our rebellious deeds that he was pierced and because of our sins that he was crushed. He endured the punishment that made us completely whole, and in his wounding, we found our healing." Isaiah 53:5 (TPT)
"After this I looked, and behold, right in front of me I saw a vast multitude of people—an enormous multitude so huge that no one could count—made up of victorious ones from every nation, tribe, people group, and language. They were all in glistening white robes, standing before the throne and before the Lamb with palm branches[u] in their hands. And they shouted out with a passionate voice:
“Salvation belongs to our God
seated on the throne
and to the Lamb!”
All the angels were standing in a circle around the throne with the elders and the four living creatures, and they all fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, singing:
“Amen! Praise and glory,
wisdom and thanksgiving,
honor, power, and might
belong to our God forever and ever! Amen!” Revelation 7:9-12 TPT
