How can it already be the last few days of October? I'm not ready for Thanksgiving, let alone, Christmas...but they will be here before we know it! Enjoy my monthly retrospective. I'm joining up with Jennifer and the other bloggers here.
Something Loved: Once again, our daughters came home for our youngest's birthday and I didn't take very many pictures. However, we did have a lovely time together, as always. I'll entice you with her 4-layer chocolate Butterfinger cake, lovingly made by Jonathan.
Something Accomplished: A little more cleaning, this time it was the spice rack. 26 bottles of expired spices, the oldest was dated 2009. I do cook, honestly. Now, I need to add a few, but not all, to my grocery list.
Something Improved: My eyesight. Well, that may not be totally accurate, but I did get new glasses. I tried Costco this time and would highly recommend. Much cheaper, great selection for forms, and I really like them. My eyes are still getting used to them, but I'm not squinting today, so that's a win!
Something Noticed: This was lying on the top step of our deck, just below our bird feeder. It appears, a bird may have been upset with a squirrel trying to get its food and took matters into its own hands, or maybe wings and beak. Ha ha.
