Another month is complete. I'm joining Jenn and the other writers again as we Share Four Somethings from July.
Something Loved: We took some time for ourselves and went dancing at the park! We were a bit surprised that it was not the band we were expecting, though. I suppose I need to ensure I read the entire Facebook post. Ha, ha. We still had a great time and enjoyed the music of Five Points Swing!
The Moonlighters played the following Saturday, in another, smaller location in the park. It was too crowded to dance; however, the lovely, cooler weather and time spent together listening to great music made for a nice evening.
Something Learned: I figured out how to copy a calendar event in Outlook. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal, but I'm mostly a Google calendar person. So, it made me happy when I figured it out! I recently had to switch from a Google calendar to putting everything on my Outlook calendar for work.
Something That Went Well: I spent the last 2 weeks using up the leftovers in our freezer! We found some extra chip clips and rubbermaid containers that are now useable again!!
Something Let Go of: This month, again, I didn't let go of anything. However, I did add a Bible study, so I figured that would count for this topic!
I felt the Lord nudging me to become involved in an online Community Bible Study with my friend, Teresa. She asked last year, and I declined, so I decided to say yes this year. We don't start until the end of August, but I did pick up my book yesterday. It looks like it's going to be a good study of the Psalms. 14 of us met in person the last Saturday of July for lunch. It was so fun meeting everyone.
