Here I am, a little late to the end-of-2024 party, but posting nonetheless! I hope you enjoy my walk through December, as we start 2025. As always, check out Jennifer's blog to see what the other writers did in December.
Something Loved: We were blessed to have both daughters home for about 10 days! We ate, rested, crocheted, played Yahtzee and Five Crowns (cards), and enjoyed each other's company. We also made it to the final day of the lovely Franktown Festival of Lights. Shout out to Rachel for being our photographer for the evening!

Something Accomplished: For the last several years I have had a reading goal for the year. This year it was 24 books (both fiction and non-fiction) in 12 months and I surpassed my goal and read 26! This graphic from Goodreads was generated on Dec. 21, and I finished my last 2 books just under the wire on Dec. 30 and 31.
Something Improved: This past year, I broke my favorite piece of Pampered Chef stoneware. I used it for many things, but it was especially handy for my mother-in-law's cinnamon rolls, so I had to buy a new one. Her cinnamon rolls are a Christmas tradition and this new 9x13 stoneware pan, did a great job! It's easy to clean, too!
Something Noticed: On the way home from work on Dec. 31st, there was a beautiful rainbow. You can barely see it in the picture below. I finally came to a stoplight and attempted to grab a shot behind me via my side mirror. It was much more spectacular in person and I found it several times on various roads. A beautiful ending to the year.
