Welcome to my look back at April. It was a month marked by lots of rain but also some nice Spring days. I've posted this on Jennifer's blog, along with a few other writers this month. I also added the Five Minute Friday word, "might" for the last "something" below. (It's a 2-for-1 this month! Ha ha)
Something Loved: The rains have brought some lovely flowers! Our azalea bush is lovely, and we bought a few petunias too! Spring has arrived!
Something Learned: I figured out how to reset our Roku when the audio wasn't working! A few minutes on Google and we had sound again!
Something That Went Well: I tried a couple of new recipes this month! I have the Mealime app and it's gotten me out of my rut!
Something Let Go of: Each day, I continue to learn how to let go a little more and allow God to work. Recently, there was a situation that felt impossible, and I prayed that God would work it out! I waited on Him, and He beautifully orchestrated the outcome. I didn't have to worry or fret, because He had it figured out the whole time! I just need to wait.
The Scripture that came to mind was Zechariah 4:6: "Your help will not come from your own strength and power. No, your help will come from my Spirit. This is what the Lord All-Powerful says." (ERV)
Kate posts a single word each week, and each blogger sets a timer for 5 minutes to write and then posts, with little editing. Check out the other writers this week!
