I can't believe we are just a few days away from November. Another month has flown by...this feels like the fastest yet! Join me as I remember October and check out Heather and the other writers on her blog!
Something Loved: Having both daughters home to celebrate Rachel's 27th birthday! We took very few pictures, but I wanted to share the lovely (and VERY tasty) lemon blueberry cake that my husband made for the celebration. You can follow his baking journey on Instagram.
Something Gleaned: I started studying Matthew with the First 5 app from Proverbs 31 Ministries. This first week is called foundations week and gives the background on the author and the cultural setting of this book. I gleaned how to deal with the chaos in the world.
Something Braved or Saved: I love new recipes and have been following Tieghan Gerard of Half Baked Harvest for a while now. Here is a new recipe she shared this past week which I saved, Creamy Broccoli Cheddar Casserole with Garlic Butter Pretzels. It looks delicious and am looking forward to trying it. Hopefully, I can report back in November on this one.
Something Achieved: I'm proud of myself for completing (or will by Monday) the 31-Day Writing Challenge 2022. It was a great exercise of finding a daily rhythm of writing and posting. It was amazing, as I prayed and listened, how the Holy Spirit led me to a Scripture or song, then the words flowed through me from the Lord as I wrote for 5 minutes each day. If you missed my posts or want to re-read them, check out this first blog post which has the links to each day's post.
What have you loved, gleaned, braved (or saved), and achieved in October? I'd love to read your comments below!
