Welcome to the end of February! I'm linking up with Jennifer Goodwin on her Overflowing with Thankfulness blog.
Check out her blog and the other writers who are contributing this month.
Something Loved: As part of my job, I haul supplies of masks and stickers to the screening tables at the entrances to our clinic. I've been using a backpack for the past 2.5 years but recently noticed that my back and shoulders were starting to hurt some days. A friend had recently bought a wheeled backpack and I thought I'd try it out. It came in the mail last week and after just a few days of use, I am a big fan! It holds a lot and fits my needs perfectly.
Something Read: This book by Bob Goff is so good and I'm highlighting so much! I'll be reading this next month, too!
Here are a couple of quotes I highlighted recently.
"How many times have we failed to realize Jesus is in the room with us? We live much of our lives unaware, drifting in our own way toward God, not realizing that He's already right there beside us and has been there for a long time." pg. 70
"We will become in our lives what we do with our love." pg. 73
"...when it comes to our faith, false beliefs can become distractions that have the power to rob us of a lifetime of clarity and purpose." pg.86
Something Learned: I think I have to keep re-learning the fact that I'm not in control and some days and weeks don't go as planned. I'm continuing to learn to go with the flow and allow God to guide.
Something Eaten: My husband and I have Friday date nights and we often end up at Carrabba's. This is one of our favorite desserts and it never disappoints. It's their cannoli cake for two and when it arrived we said "Holy Cannoli". (Of course we did! Ha ha.)
