Read: Proverbs 30

Verse: 5  (NLT)

"Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection."

If you read Scripture too quickly, you may miss little nuggets like this gem of a promise. "EVERY WORD of God proves true" (emphasis mine).

He is TRUTH! He is our shield if we will just come to Him for protection. This reminds me of Ephesians 6:10-17 that talks about us being clothed with the armor of God. His shield of faith protects us from the arrows of the enemy and His word is our sword! I am so thankful that EVERY WORD He says is true and He will protect me!

Now that is something to count on!
