Read: Proverbs 10

Verses: 25 (NLT)

"When the storms of life come, the wicked are whirled away, but the godly have a lasting foundation."

I love this verse and the promise it represents. When, not if, the storms of life come. So, we know and obviously, God knows that we will have difficulty in this life.  This verse promises that the godly will have a lasting foundation! God's Word is true and sure and Jesus will NEVER fail us.  It's not quicksand, Jesus will hold us and we can stand on His promises! 

He is our cornerstone, "the chief foundation on which something is constructed or developed" and that something is my life!
